GK300 Electric Door Strike

Description

The GK300 series electric door strike is designed for use with cylindrical locks and mortise locksets (not deadbolts) with a throw of up to 12mm. The GK300 is designed for use with most hollow steel or aluminium frames. The stainless steel face plate ensures extra strength and reliable operation over a long period of time. The unit may be fitted to internal doors as part of an apartment intercom system or as a door release for an access control panel. The GK300 has a continuously rated coil which may be powered by 12VDC. There is also a 24VDC version available. The GK300’s extension lip allows the unit to be recessed into the frame, ensuring a more secure fitting without reducing the structural integrity of the door frame. The pre-drilled lip can accomodate additional extension lips; there are 2 extension lips availble, 25mm & 50mm. The GK300 features a rounded keeper plate which allows the lock tongue easy entry into the strike keeper.
The GK300 can be changed from fail safe to fail secure operation on-site by simply loosening a screw and shifting the lever in a matter of seconds.
